LE PETIT GUIDE DES PEAUX SENSIBLES

THE LITTLE GUIDE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

The cleanser: your best friend!

The cleaning stage is often overlooked, even downright sloppy. Too often, sensitive skin buys and uses treatments that are not suited to the condition of their skin.

Cleansers in the form of gel or foam may seem attractive, but… The truth is that these textures may dry out your skin even more. Same principle if you use disposable make-up remover cotton pads. These are often bleached with chlorine and may damage your skin.

If you have sensitive and dry/very dry skin, you should opt instead for a cleansing milk or oil so as not to attack the skin, nourish it and restore its suppleness. This change will greatly improve the sensations of tightness and discomfort.

Tap water = NO

Tap water is much too ''hard'' and drying to be used on your pretty face. When the time comes to rinse your milk, choose thermal water or floral water rather than your tap water.

This will especially help skin with redness and other skin inflammation. Our favorite floral waters: chamomile, rose, neroli or cornflower. As for thermal water, always choose isotonic waters that do not require rinsing.
